Here is a huge lot of brass doorknobs, back plates and some lock sets...38 complete sets!!! all the same!! that is 76 doorknobs and 76 back plates.. 7 skeleton key lock sets with this group.. knobs and back plates are brass ,, I think lock sets are brass plated??? The building these came out of was built in 1907,, I assume they were original . 45 of the back plates have the \" collar\" on the plate other ones have holes and loose collars,, there is only 17 loose collars,, some of these knobs were just against the plate??? Anyway ,if you are looking at these ,I am sure you know more about them than I do....The last picture shows what one ofthese would look like all cleaned up.... it doesNOT go with this group........I started cleaning some of these ,,,then I thought some people would like them all dirty??? I cleaned by giving them a very light sandblasting,,then put in polisher for 24 hours...
