This isa 19 year hardcover, is a sound copy, has some scattered fairly lighter normal shelfwear, (mostly on the DJ as per usual),with some typical signs of age. Considering the age, it\'s some what to be expected. No big folds, no long creases, no large bends & wrinkle lineson the dustjacket. No smaller panel rips, no tears, no heavy fraying, no push holes, no chips, no wide chipping, no chunks missing. The color is bright, the DJ is clean,has pretty decent gloss. No severe ageing, no deep browning, no heavy yellowing.

No big or dark stains, no heavy grime, no bleached out fade, no water marks, no foxing, no liquid related issues, no huge age spots on the exteriors. The insides of the DJ are pretty clean, have fairly lighter age tone. There\'s a small surface rub mark from the black paper boards on the front inside flap panel with a few random little darker rubs - no damp marks, no bleeding, no big dark stains, no water damage, no foxing, no huge age spots, no heavy grime, no severe ageing, no deep browning.

There\'s some scattered fairly light surface rubbing on both panels with some thin rub lines & a few small rub marks. No all over or severe rub & scuff wear - no major amounts of color loss. Front has a rub mark & crimp at the top spine end, a small crimp & little mark around the bottom end, a fairly small indented mark on the spine edge (top of the middle black band), with a couple short marks & little bruises scattered along. There\'s some little surface marks & bruises scattered on the bottom 1/4 of the panel, a couple smaller line marks below the red square at the spine edge, with a few little marks & bruises in the red photo band.

Back panel has a small crimp & shorter angled crimp line on the bottom spine end, a few dash sized bruises along the edge, top end has smaller crimps. There\'s a few short line mark on the bottom left gray photo square, a few smaller rub lines in the red square with a few little marks & bruises top of the red bottom of the blue square. There\'s not lots of large heavy markings, the outer panels are pretty flat & mostly still smooth. Nobig harsh marks, no scrapes, no gouges, no lengthy bends & wrinkle lines, no long deep line marks, no numerous or large indents, no noted amounts of big deep marks & finger bends, nogiant sized impressions.

The DJ corners are sound. Top front has short rubs on the tip top edge, small bruises around the tip with a thin line impression below the top edge. Front bottom a short rub on the tip bottom edge, a dash sized line bruise off the tip with some little bruises in the mustard corner color. Top back has a thin rub bend mark along the top edge with thin tip rub (top edge). Back bottom has a thin impression along above the bottom edge. The corners are still mostly square. No wide heavy push marks, no big creases, no long bend & wrinkle lines, no small rips or tears, no big folds, no large sized wear spots, no big chips, no fraying.

The outer edges are sound & decent. Front top has small rub marks & little bruises scattered along with a thin crimp line just below. Front bottom some little marks & small bruises along with some lighter outward curl above, (has a thin lighter line impression above). Top back some thin rub marks & smaller bruises along with a thin line impression & crimping just off the edge. Back bottom the smaller angled line at the spine corner, a few short rubs & little bruises along with some thin impression above. The edges are still mostly straight, show some typical shelfwear. No huge whacks,no giant sized impressions, no shorter rips or long tears, no fraying,no lengthy bends & wrinkle lines, no large edge creases, no chips, no wide chipping, no chunks missing, no thick color loss, no bubble lines, no blisters, no peeling.

Thespine ends are sound. Top has smaller crimps all along, bottom some lighter crimping with inward curve (lighter places in the photos are reflections, not color loss). No torn end flaps, no wide heavy push marks, no splits, no chips, no tears. There\'s some light surface rubbing scattered on the flat edge, a short bruise (left of the \"S.\"), has good gloss, color is bright, the lettering is intact. No big raised marks, no push holes, no bubble lines, no stress cracks, no short rips, no big tears, no chips, no bleached out fade, no large creases, no thick color loss, no large deep marks & real heavy bruising on the spine areas.

The front inside flap has shorter thin rub mark off the top left corner, a thin rub along the top edge & point rub on the right corner. The flaps have a (normal thin) line impression from the outer pages edges under the top edges. Back flap has some thin crimping along the top edge, a short crimp at the top right corner, with a few thin rubs along the bottom. The outer edges are still mostly straight. No tears, no long creases, no chips, no large marks,no wide bends, no real heavy crimping. Retains its $24. price, has not been clipped, no remainder marks on the book.

Overall condition of the book is very good. The interior is complete, the pages are sound, have some age tone, (printed with acidic materials). The front & back Puerto Rico map decorated paste downs & end papers are pretty clean, are uniform, color is bright. There\'s a small age or grime speck on the back end paper on the left green border, front top edge has 2 little \"extra\" specks of the black paper (from the publisher). Other wise they are clean - No dark stains, no bleeding, no discolorations, no noted lighter spots, no foxing, no big age spots, no heavy grime, no blisters, no long bubble lines, no chips.

There\'s not anytorn or missing pages, nothing clipped out, no big folds, no large ceases, no long bends & wrinkle lines, no heavy edge fraying & chipping. There\'s a single page with a few small grime rubs or short smudges scattered on the top & left edge, other wise interiors are clean. No big or dark stains, no heavy grime, no large smudges, no writing, no liquid related issues, no foxing, nohuge age spots, no water damage on the interiors.

There\'s some small corner tip rubs scattered,a shorter section of pages with little point rub bends & bruises on the tops. A single page has a few small marks & impressions around the top corner, 1 has a little extra \"tail\" (from the publisher). The greater majority of the page corners are flat & square - no long bend & wrinkle lines, no noted amounts of heavy tip curls & folds & wide bends,no huge severe marks, no big folds, no long creases, no chips. There\'s possibly some scattered small rub marks or little surface bruises, I don\'t see too much of note. The pages are pretty flat & smooth, do not have large heavy markings. No dark stains, no noted discolorations, no heavy grime, no liquid related lighter spots, no large deep marks, no scrapes or gouges on the board flats. The black spine paper is clean & pretty uniform, has some surface rubbing from the DJ.

The gold spine lettering is bright & intact, no color loss.The spine ends both have inward crimping, top has little crimp marks, bottom short crimp lines at the corners in the spine gully with some edge rubbing. No splits, no torn end flaps, no chips, no wide heavy push marks, no end tears.

No large creases, no short rips, no big raised marks, no bubble lines, no long tears, no splits, no push holes, no bleached out fade on the spine areas, spine edge is pretty flat & square.No heavy slant, no severe twist, no deep inward curve, no cupping, the text block is square. The boards & binding are tight, the hinges are sound & unbroken - no loose pages, no cracked or split internal spine, no wide gaps, no binding issues. Front board has some lift when the book is laid flat.

The book corners are sound. The bottoms both have a small surface rub on the tips. Top back a little short surface bruise off the point. The corners are pretty square,are not heavily marked, are not bashed in. The closed page edges are clean & sound, have a lighter age tone, (pics #10-12 with the tops first). No big dark stains, nolarge smudges, no heavy grime, no foxing, no huge numerous age spots, no water damage, no remainder marks. There\'s a few small or light surface rubs scattered on the close edges. I don\'t see too much of note, all are very decent shape. Condition wise all the edges are sound, do not have hard wear, no severe ageing. No huge whacks, no long wide line marks, no numerous large indents, no bigharsh scuffs & scrapes or gouges, no all over deep heavy bruising, no large severemarks.
