Hutschenreuther rectangular porcelain wall plaque decorated with an art nouveau work by the Czech art nouveau artist Alfons Mucha and entitled “The Flowers-The Carnation”. The front of the plaque has a scripted Mucha signature. The plaque is approximately 8” long and approximately 3 7/8” wide. The back of the plaque has the Hutschenreuther hallmark and the words “Hutschenreuther”, “Germany”, “Alfons Mucha”, “The Flowers” and “The Carnation”. The back of the plaque also has a hook for hanging the plaque that was placed on the plaque by Hutschenreuther. The two protective pads at the bottom of the back of the plaque were also placed there by Hutschenreuther. The wall plaque was purchased new by the seller and is in excellent condition—it has no chips, cracks or any other form of damage.
