Item Details:♦ Franklin Mint Limited Edition clock was designed by Igor Carl Faberge and represents one of the last pieces to be produced at Faberge\'s Geneva atelier before the family sold the firm in the mid-1980s. This luxurious carriage clock is incredibly impressive, constructed of brass case plated in 24K yellow gold with minted gold-on-sterling face and 24K yellow gold embellishment adorned with 10 faceted rubies to highlight the design and distinguish the quarter hours on the dial.The exquisite design of the clock\'s case is styled after the sweeping rococo lines of the grand staircase in the famed Hermitage Museum (formerly the Winter Palace) in St. Petersburg, Russia with phenomenal scroll filigree work.The clock has an 11-jeweled movement. The Swiss movement is visible through the beveled glass panels (please note small chips present in corners of glass) on either side of the case, and a rectangular window beneath the ornately sculptured handle reveals the balanced \"heart\" of the mechanism.
