When I first began conducting business on in 1997, comics were the main focus (both buying and selling). Many years ago I shifted my interest and focus toward original art and comic book-related fine art prints. I\'m pleased to get back to my \"roots\" and offer some great comics at great prices! This sale features IRON FIST # 14 from 1977. JOHN BYRNE provides the art. It also showcases an appearance by the X-MEN, and the 1st APPEARANCE of SABERTOOTH! I attempted to scan BOTH the front and back cover with high enough resolution so you can zoom in and see any defects. The book has a little spine roll. There is a stain on the upper left, in the middle of the Iron Fist box. There is a small chip missing in the bottom of the spine. Light corner crease on the lower right which doesn\'t break color. The eye appeal of the front cover is NICE despite these defects. The stain spills over a little onto the top right of the back cover (see scan). Off-white to light cream pages. This is a nice, supple reading copy! This is a nice FINE copy, but I\'m calling it VG/F for simplicity. Overstreet\'s 42nd edition lists FINE as $42. This is easily a $40-$50 copy, considering the demand for this issue. All items are shipped with care in a priority mail BOX to ensure they get there in the condition described. Again, I have been on for over 15 years but I was selling comics up and down California for 10 years before that. A WORD ABOUT GRADING: I typically UNDERGRADE to a fault, and rarely (if ever) \"push\" a grade on a book. I accept clear differences of opinion concerning the accumulation of defects and impression of overall grade. I\'m listing these books at low prices with , knowing that many of these will sell at amazingly low bargain prices. I\'m doing this for FUN with the remnants of a couple of collections I have left. Having said that, I try to be accurate in my description and scans so that you can make your own informed choice of what you wish to pay for these items. I don\'t wish to engage in endless debate and arguments concerning minor grading issues. You can of course return the item if not satisfied!
