This is a heavy duty, handmade, TRUE vintage ensemble consisting of a 5mm sterling silver chain and an old Navajo Les Baker sterling and turquoise pendant. It is impossible to know if the pendant was made by Les Baker (RIP) himself or one of the dozens of Native silversmiths employed at his shop but it is a CLASSIC example of the work generated at the shop.The pendant measures a little over 1\" tall by about 1\" wide and has a SPECTACULAR turquoise stone in a raised bezel that I would speculate is from the Morenci mine. It is a deep blue with a lot of mottled black matrix. It has an open, front facing loop so it is easy to attach and remove from the chain. As pictured the ensembleweighs almost exactly 47 grams and is wearable up to slightly over 22\" but I can easily add more heavy duty sterling chain at no charge.The necklace and pendant are both in very good, TRUE vintage condition with minor, age-related nicks, scratches, and imperfections but no actual DEFECTS to speak of.This is a completely iconic Navajo set that can be worn for YEARS to come and NEVER, EVER lose it\'s relevance.
