Illinois Bunn Special Railroad Pocket Watch.

This 16 size (case diameter 51 mm) antique pocket watch has a railroad grade movement. The movement was made by Illinois Watch Co, and is marked Bunn Special, 21 jewels, adjusted to temperature and six positions, and is lever set. The plates are nice and the minor spiderwebbing on the crown wheel is greatly magnified in the image. This is not very noticeable in your hand. The dial is double sunk porcelain and very nice and correct with the oversize seconds bit as used on Bunn Specials. This is a NICE dial. Case is 20 year gold filled and also very nice. Nice Bunn!

This watch runs and keeps reasonable time, but I do not know the service history of this watch, so it may need to be serviced.
