IMPERIAL JAPANESE SATSUMA KORO SIGNED Rare green enamel incense burner / censer:

A very fine, small satsuma pottery koro (incense burner) beautifully painted in a rare green enamel with red and gosu blue enamel and gilt. It has a signature in black and red to the base.

Dating to the mid C19th., it stands 3 3/4inches (9.5cms) high with lid.

The base is in very good condition. The lid is broken and re-stuck with a small loss of paste to the dogs top jaw.

Postage will be by Royal Mail \"small packets\" airmail service with the option to increase to International Signed For for more expensive items. Items over £200 will be sent International Signed For with the option to reduce to standard small packets rate. The difference between “small packets” rate and Signed For rate is £5, so bear this in mind when offerding. (But see returns policy below)

I accept returns within 14 days of receipt by the purchaser.

The item must be returned in the same condition as it was posted.

Refund of hammer price only if buyer has opted for standard postage or airmail or merely has changed mind.

For items gone astray where signed for postage was used or where material discrepancies or fault was on my part, a full refund will be given.

Any other refunds will be at my discretion on a case by case basis, but I will be fair and reasonable.
