Imperial Russian - Tsar Nicholas II - WW1 Russian Imperial Russian Eagle - Badge At offer is a fine Imperial Russian eagle badge.

The badge is executed in white metal, silver (?) or pewter, though no hallmarks are discernible.

It measures 2 inches across, displaying superb detail and finishing.

The badge has a threaded post to receive a female-threaded mounting disk mounted at the centre of its back; no hallmarks are discernible. A number of websites and sale catalogues have advertised similar pieces with prices ranging into the thousands of dollars. I purchased this piece from a long-standing collector of Imperial Russian material but have no provenance on this piece so cannot absolutely attest to its age, though everything about it \"looks\" right.
