Up for sale with is a one of the finest examples of Thai Sterling Silver that I have ever seen, let alone had the pleasure to sell. This is an incredible quality Thai Sterling Silver Dresser Box or large Jewellery Casket. The Box is literally covered in the most amazingly detailed Figural designs of Deity Figures or Gods and Goddesses. The designs are all done in a very high relief Repousse and literally seem to be jumping off the surface, so much more impressive than my photos can show. The Box also features Flowers and Scrolls throughout. The Box is of a great Casket form and never had a hinge, the lid just pops off. The Box is unmarked but I have sold enough Silver to know this is from Thailand and we had it tested as being 925 Sterling Silver throughout. The Box is in amazing condition with no damage and looks to have been rarely used. I think with a nice tufted silk or satin interior it would make the most beautiful Jewellery Box I have seen. The Box is an impressive large size measuring7-1/8 inches long by4-5/8 inches wide and sits3-3/4 inches tall with a quality weight of579 grams. I doubt you will have the chance to acquire another Box like this and if you miss out you will surely regret it !
