Hi, Selling this absolutely stunning and rare as hens teeth William Moorcroft jug in salt glaze and a highly collectable hazeldene landscape pattern with pink and reds flambe and geometric lines around the lower part. Hazeldene landscape pieces are rare, then rarer with pinkish flambe hews, then rarer again in salt glaze and then the shape with geometric lines is also rare. However what makes this jug probably a one off piece are the flower heads Moorcroft has used, I think as stars in the sky. You will not see this on any other piece, so more than likely a one off piece, 3 of the UK\'s best moorcroft dealers i showed this too had not seen this before and agree its a rarity. It is in Excellent display condition with NO chips, cracks or damages of any kind, it has had a proffessional restoration to the handle and not noticeable at all on display. It measures 17.8cms in height and 16cms in diameter including the handle and signed initials to the base by William Moorcroft as shown. This is an absolute must for any collection and displays really really well.
