A fine Indian Wars Officers Kepi hat. Dark blue wool with original brass buttons with gold braid over the visor.

Inside has an old embroidered cloth with elaborate stitching and initials. This is stitched to the inside lining.

Kepi appears to be complete and original.

Back of cap to edge or visor is approx. 9”.

Diameter of Kepi is approx. 6-1/2”.

Blue wool in good condition. No tears, but there is a moth hole and another area of cloth loss above the visor. See images.
