This sale is for a one-of-a-kind original hand-colored comic production art page fromMarvel ComicsINFINITY, INC.ISSUE 9 PAGE 5 WITH ART BYJERRY ORDWAY-PENCILS & VARIOUS INKERS-INKS & ANTHONY TOLLIN/ADRIENNE ROY-COLORIST. This pageis approximately the same size as a normal comic book, andwasused in the actual production of the1985 book,hand-colored by the colorist Anthony Tollin or Adrienne Roy. He colored it on a shrunkdown 8 1/2\" by 11\" paper copy of the original drawn and inked 11 x 17\" artwork(which you do not get,someone else owns that!), with his color codes noted for the printer. Almost all comics are computer colored now and have been for a good decade or so, so these hand-colored covers & pages areno longer produced, so theseolder ones are getting more collectible than ever.First classmail will run $3.00 to anywhere in the U.S. Canadian airmail will cost $8.00. and worldwide will run $12.00.

Color guide artwork is different from black and white original art. Color guides (colorist\'s artwork) are re-sized copies of the pencil and ink original artwork that are assigned to the issue\'s colorist, and then hand painted (colored by hand with watercolor dyes) by that colorist. Colorguides usually measure about the same size as the published comic book, and some have \"color codes\" for the printers to follow. Because most modern comic books are now colored by using computers, there are no more color guide pages being produced, which makes the surviving color guide pages highly collectible. After a few comments from buyers, I just have to tell you that the scans do not do the colors justice. They are brighter and bolder that what you see here in the ad. So if you like what you see here, you will be very pleased when you receive your pages!
