Extremely rare (Schidlof mentions only two other pieces) miniature by Bavarian artist of the 1st third of the 19th century, Isaak Wolfsheimer.

Isaak Wolfsheimer was born in Bavarian town Fürth (Fuerth), where he was first mentioned as a portrait miniaturist in 1810. He spent the years between 1817 and about 1817 in Nuremberg; then - in Munich, where he was mainly active as lithographer and engraver.
