This listing is for a pair of very fine early 20th century Israel Freeman silver plate figural compotes. The compotes measure 9 inches or 23 cm high, and are 9 inches in diameter at the top rim. They feature a footed round base with repousse work. This supports the figural stem, which shows a full standing figure of Cupid armed with his bow and arrows. At the top of his head is a round bowl with a fancy scalloped edge and ribbed bowl. They are marked on the bottom “FREEMAN” with the hand and hammer hallmark along with “MADE IN SPAIN”.
They are in overall very good condition. There are some minor variations and darkening to the silver. Please see photos for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description. There is .
