I am pleased to offer you this beautiful, vintage Virgin Mary hand carved, hand painted figure from Italy. The figure depicts the Virgin Mary standing on the globe with one foot crushing a serpent, based on a passage from Genesis. She stands 10½ inches tall including base and is in very good condition. The wood base measures 1 inch tall and 2¾ inches square. A classic example of fine and lovely artisanship.

NOTE: There is a very small chip in the edge of the robe near her left foot. This is not readily noticeable but I mention it for accuracy. Please see the pictures below for more specific Handling & Payment
