This is an original Ives Loco and Tender that has been restored.It appears to be a very high-quality, older restoration.The only thing I noticed is that one of the brass nameplates is missing under the cab window on one side.
The casting on the Loco is straight and solid.There is no evidence that the cab window area was repaired.(These locos often crack around the cab windows.)
The loco runs both directions, although it has been sitting a long time and could use some cleaning and lubrication if you want to run it a lot.The tender is solid, and the sides are very straight compared to many of these.
This is a very tough item to find in any condition.Don\'t miss this one!!
