Up for your consideration is are two FRAMED ANTIQUE/OLD (mid 19th century) JAPANESE WOODBLOCK prints by
the Famous TOYOKUNI III or also known as Utagawa Kunisada.
One of the prints bears the signature KOCHORO TOYOKUNI ga (drawn by) with the RED TOSHIDAMA SEAL.
The other has the PUBLISHER or MAKERS MARK for YAMAMOTOYA HEIKICHI / EIKYUDO.
It also is by TOYOKUNI and it possibly has the red seal but much of it is hidden behind the mat.
They are PROFESSIONALLY FRAMED in WOODEN GILT FRAMES with an internal GOLD FRAME as well.
They areREADY TO HANG in the finest of homes.
They are possibly scenes from a play.
It measures approximately 8 1/4\" x 12 1/4\".
Overall frame size is approximately 15 1/2\" x 20 1/2\"
This item is sold AS-IS.
This 19th century woodblock prints are in GOOD CONDITION with good impression and color.
The one with the visible seal has a crease of a sort that runs across (left to right) slightly down from the center.
This does not detract from the print.
They were not removed from their frame.
