JAPANESE VINTAGE JAPANESE YORAKU TORO BUDDHIST SHRINE LANTERN PAIR (2 PC):

This is a pair of Buddhist shrine lanterns known as Yoraku Toro. They were used to light the inside of the Japanese butsudan (Buddhist shrine). This set has electric cords 6\' long and included two low watt electric bulbs (see pictures 3 & 9). They are made of brass and each stands 6\" tall (without the long brass extension tubes). With the tubes they are 14\" tall. They are constructed in four pieces with come easily apart (see pictures 8, 9, & 10). They are currently wired, ready to use and in very fine condition.
