Her short and wavy bob isso in keeping with the period, when women were exploring personal freedomand breaking with the tradition of long up-swept hairstyles. Face is sweet withcomplex features, and her clothing is exceptionally detailed, with natural folds andcreases beautifully rendered. Carver shows great mastery of the material, withpleasing shades of the soft tea color shell left on the clothing and hair for depthand texture.
