Here is your chance to have (or add) a lovely full Bisque Kestner JDK porcelain doll inyour collection. This doll has the markings, \"K. Made in Germany 14. J.D.K. 241.\" on the back of her head with no other marking anywhere else on her body.To be 100% honest I do not know if this an original or reproduction so I listed this as a reproduction just to be sure. The clothes are very old with no markings or information on them and the appear to be hand made and in very good condition. The shoes and hair are newer, maybe 30 to 40 years only and have tags on them so they are not original.
The doll is in great condition however there are a few items that will need to be repaired. The elastic strings that hold the arms and legs in place is worn out so she does not stay together very well. Bothcalves andfeet look to have a sort of plaster inside with hooks on them. I am not sure of this suppose to be like this or it was an attempt at repairing this doll a number of years ago. These can be removed and replaced with the proper connectors if needed.
