This beautiful handpainted J P L plate from Limoges, France dates to between 1891-1932.

It features a cream center surrounded by four clusters ofgooseberries (?), in various degrees of ripeness-red, pink and green, with delicate green leaves.

The outer edge of the plate is delicate complementary pink.

Between the clusters of flowers is a swirling accent and the artist\'s signature-G.O.

The back is marked J.P. L. France.

There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, fleabites, loss of color or repairs.

This is a lovely reminder of the gracious days in the past.
