John Alstrup hand made borosilicate implosion floral marble. Each marble is annealed for 16 hours for durability.

Marbles are made from one of the clearest borosilicates along with colored glass from high quality U.S. sources. The clear glass is chemically neutral and not harmful to the Environment. These will last a long time. The soft glass marbles from the early 1900\'s are still traded today - many of them in excellent condition.
You are dealing directly with the craftsman. Marbles are signed \'JHA\' and the year i.e. 17, with titanium pen.
The photos are no match for holding one in your hand. Every effort is made to make them round and free of surface problems. Because they are hand made, each is slightly out of round and may have a pontil mark - the contact point of the final glass rod holding the glass in the flame, usually on the bottom.
