This sale features the officially licensed CAPTAIN AMERICA # 113 giclee on CANVAS by STERANKO! It is SIGNED by JIM STERANKO and is number 93 in a super rare edition of only 99 units published back in 2011. The dimensions are a large 18 x 27. INTERESTING FACTS about this CANVAS EDITION: It is the ONLY licensed canvas edition featuring art by the great JIM STERANKO. There were going to be 99 units in the edition, but the publisher went out of business before completing the edition. Less than 40 units exist. NONE of the units were SIGNED. Our gallery arranged a special signing at the San Diego Comic Con. There are only TEN units in this regular edition signed by STERANKO. We were able to acquire all the pieces and personally get them signed. Marvel Artworksutilized the Marvel license several years ago to produce many incredible images featuring art by extremely talented artists. They issued canvas editions that were numberedbut not signed by the artists. In very few cases, there was a special edition signed by Stan Lee. Each piece has a certificate of authenticity. Thereis lots of this type of artfloatingaround...unframed, signed, even some signed by Stan Lee. Why buy this art from us? We actually care about the art and the ARTISTS!
