Up for sale is a First Edition/First Printing, hard cover copy of \'Heart Shaped Box\' by Joe Hill. The book was signed on the full-title page by Joe Hill, in front of me at a signing appearance at the Upper West Side Barnes & Noble book store in New York City, on October 26, 2017.
Joe Hill\'s full name is Joseph Hillstrom King. He is the son of Stephen King. When he decided to become a writer, he opted to change his name in order to be signed for his talent and not his name. Not even his agent knew Joe\'s true identity. It was a struggle but after writing four novels which were all rejected, finally a small English press opted to print a collection of short stories titled \'20th Century Ghosts.A stated First Edition. Published by William Morrow. ISBN: 978-0-06-114793-7. The book is in fine condition, there\'s minor shelf wear to the dust jacket. Not price clipped, Ex-libris, nor remaindered. The full number line reads:10987654321. You can see this copy on the book on photo #1 just before it was signed.
