Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I\'m happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you\'re offerding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: \"Not a Word From Home\" - by Joe Val and the New England Bluegrass Boys on the Rounder Records label (RR 0082), in beautiful original sound, released circa 1977.
CONDITION: JACKET - VG++/EX(Jacket has light age/edge/corner wear with some soiling on the textured cover, but is unmarked and undamaged; NOTE: Front cover is signed by all four band members - please see our photo of actual cover; VINYL - Near Mint(Rounder vinyl has only extremely light paper scuff marks - visually graded using specially balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: This is one amazing record, worth its price for the vintage Rounder cover alone (this WAS the 82nd album Rounder released). The players are a cast of bluegrass artists from north of the Mason-Dixon, featuring mandolin legend and high lonesome singer Joe Val. Nice song-by-song and historical notes bring up the rear.

OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
