Rosdil(Ukrainian Розділ; Russian Роздол / Rozdol, Polish Rozdół) is an urban-typesettlement in Rajon Mykolaiv Oblast Lviv in western Ukraine.Thesettlement is about 60 kilometers south of Lviv and 10 kilometers southeast ofRajonshauptstadt Mykolaiv situated on the river Kolodnyzja.Theplace was first mentioned in writing in 1569, was awarded in 1745 the MagdeburgLaw and was first in Poland, arrived in 1772 as Rozdół to Austrian Galicia andwas from 1918-1939 a part of the Polish Republic (in Powiat Żydaczów, ProvinceStanislau). Afterthe end of World War II the place fell to the Soviet Union, he is since 1991part of today\'s Ukraine. 1940/1944received the village now called Rozdol the status of an urban-type settlement,large coal deposits were in the 1950s around the village discovered east of thevillage was built the present town Novyi Rozdil.Until24 March 1992, the site was the official name Rozdol (Роздол) and was thenrenamed to the present name

Rosdil (ukrainisch Розділ; russisch Роздол/Rosdol,polnisch Rozdół) ist eine Siedlung städtischen Typs im Rajon Mykolajiw der Oblast Lwiw im Westen der Ukraine.

DieSiedlung ist etwa 60 Kilometer südlich von Lemberg und etwa 10Kilometer südöstlich der Rajonshauptstadt Mykolajiw am Flüsschen Kolodnyzja gelegen.

Der Ortwurde 1569 zum ersten Mal schriftlich erwähnt, erhielt 1745 das Magdeburger Stadtrecht und lag zunächst in Polen, kam 1772 als Rozdółzum österreichischen Galizien und war ab 1918bis 1939 ein Teil der Polnischen Republik (im Powiat Żydaczów, Woiwodschaft Stanislau). Nach dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges fiel der Ort andie Sowjetunion, seit 1991 ist er Teil der heutigen Ukraine. 1940/1944 erhieltdas nunmehr Rosdol genannte Dorf den Status einer Siedlung städtischen Typs, inden 1950er Jahren wurden in der Umgebung des Ortes große Kohlevorkommen entdeckt,östlich des Ortes entstand die heutige Stadt NowyjRosdil.

Bis zum24. März 1992 trug der Ort den offiziellen Namen Rosdol (Роздол) und wurde dann auf den heutigen Namen umbenannt
