YOU ARE offerDING ON THIS VINTAGE & RARE COLLECTIBLE: THIS IS A CAST IRON REPLICA of an Original JAMES D CAPRON Mechanical Piggy Bank Collection. This is the trick dog and the donkey bank in the barn.
It is HAND PAINTED and made of Cast Iron. Over all this bank is in very nice condition. The paint is still nice and bright showing no signs of rust. It is clearly marked on the bottom \"REPLICA OF AN ORIGINAL OF THE JAMES D CAPRON COLLECTION\" which you can see in the photo. The mechanism works great and the dog jumps out of his box where he is hiding and the the donkey falls forward into the barn pushing the coin inside the bank,
Unfortunately it is missing the metal stopper on the bottom which keeps the coins from falling out. The back plate is also missing off of the barn. Please see this in the photos. This is still a great conversation piece and could probably be fixed.
