PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORDS, DHINC WATERMARK ARE NOT ON THE ITEM ITSELFYou are offerding an original old tiny snapshot showing, according to the writing on the back of the snapshot, a C-47 ( transport ), landing at Kunming, China in Jan 1944. This is another of a number of photos/snapshots which were acquired recently at a local estate sale in OKC. The man was a veteran of World War II and was stationed in China and Burma in the 1940s, and, according to what he told his neighbor, whenever an airplane came into their base, he would take a picture of it. The box in which they or it, were found says Photos, India, China, & Burma, 1942-45. It is TINY, VERY SMALL, and, although cut a little unevenly, measures approx. 2 1/4” x 1 5/8”. It is probably in about very good condition with a little wear at the corners and edges, there being a small piece of paper at the top left corner from the snapshot not being cut evenly, 2 or 3 short light creases in the top left quarter, a small light bump, nick or crease at the tip of the corners, and a little darkening or cloudiness along the borders. The snapshot does not lay flat. There is some darkening, foxing, spotting and/or cloudiness on the back of the snapshot.
