- I don\'t know the material it\'s carved in (Possibly made of Bakelite or like resin)
- This is a hard to find piece, of any material.
- Our research places this type of work from 1930\'s-50\'s
- Research on this item is difficult. We know many carvings were lacquered (on many kinds of material) to create this finish.
- Piece has initials signed on the side
- Finely Detailed in design, Hand Carved
- Awesome Collector Piece
- The bottom has had black felt applied
- The grains in the bottom look similar to fine wood grain
- Hot pin tested in a hidden area and the fine tip needle went into the material (did not damage it)
- Sits about 1 5/8\" tall by 1 1/2\" wide and about 1 3/8\" deep
- Small piece weighing 0.893 oz
- Condition would be vintage aged, piece has tiny holes in the folded hands area
