A Japanese hand painted scroll on paper. It appears to be very, very old although the framing/matting seems much newer. I have included a few more photos than normal because I was told this scroll is special. It is marked in the lower left corner of the painting with the seal of Kano Eitoku (1543-1590). There is some staining and what appears to be crackling of the painting. The roller ends are made of plastic. It is about 26\" wide by 68\" long. Lots of detail in the artwork.
