VintageJapanese hand painted porcelain bowl. Kutani Ware. Shoan Bowl.

Very unique andI am not exactly sure why holes in handle or what bowl might be used for.

Item has ablack background and dots of turquoise around the gold flowers. You can actually feel the

paint of the turquoise dots.

Not sure of exact age.

Stamped in gold on bottom (see picture #7) not sure if Japanese writing is a artist signature or something else.

Itemis in nice condition with no cracks, chips and/or repairs that I have noticed. The only flaw I did notice is on

the inside on the white porcelain (see picture #6). I do not know if this will come off or if it is in the porcelain. I

leave all cleaning to buyer. Some of the pictures givethe inside of bowl a yellowish tint.Yellowish tint is shadow and

lighting. Inside of bowl is an off white color.

Approx. 6 1/4\" w x 4 1/2\" h (at widest and highest points ) & approx. 3 1/4\" in depth.
