Offered here is a gorgeous Warabe Silk Kimono Ichimatsu Doll with a Tsuzumi Drum; she stands 12 inches tall and is affixed to a wood base that is 18 inches across by 13 inches wide. She has her signed artist\'s wood stand also affixed to the base. She has wonderful long, jet black hair that is tied in two small ties by her face and hangs straight down her back. Her kimono is a magnificent piece of rose silk brocade or damask (not sure which) in a wonderful print of gilded circles in greens and golds and deep rose red. She has both hands, with her tiny left hand up inside her long, expansive left sleeve. (See photo.) The kimono has three layees, of gold and green beneath the outer rose. Its long folds display beautifully across the wood \"floor\" of the doll stand. (She his held in place under the stand with slated wood and metal brad staples.)She has the wonderful \"white face\" and chubby cheeks of the royal Asian children, with red lips that catch the light, and dark glass eyes. This doll has been part of my personal collection for some time and came to me directly from Japan. She has been kept in a display cabinet and never played with. She would make a wonderful addition to your collection. She is a large doll on a larger wood base so will require a very large box for shipping. I have offered two shipping options and recommend insurance be purchased.
My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. No props in the photos are included in this listing. She will be wrapped very well for shipping.
