Mochizuki Gyokusen / 望月 玉泉 , (1834-1913)he paint this scrool when he is 15 ( signed ) , means 1849.
Meiji 22 at the Paris World¹s Fair, he receive a bronze prizeMeiji 26 at the Chicago World¹s Fair, his \"True View of Hozugawa\" also received a prize.Meiji 37 Gyokusen became an official artist to the emperor.
Hand painted on paper , scroll measures 3.5 meters in lenght and 31 cm in width.Very good condition with only minor staining and patination .
