This Japanese Satsuma Cup & Saucer is of the very best quality. Made by Seizan in the Meiji period about 1890. It has very detailed design which is all hand applied in the most intricate detail. Please ask to see more photos if you want them. There is some slight staining on the inside body of the cup which is quite normal with earthenware pottery of this age. No damage and virtually no visible wear. A wonderful collectors item. Very rare in this condition.
