We are quite pleased to offer this important Japanese sterling silver Seven Lucky Gods treasure ship koro or incense burner.

Signed in Japanese characters. Translated Teibi Koku Seiun Zo.

The incense burner crafted as foo lion mask treasure ship.

The mask with amber color glass eyes, and fire streams cascading from each side.

The ship atop crashing wave feet.

The ship carries attributes of the Chinese Seven Lucky gods, including feathered cape, sun brim hat and so on.

Beneath these removable ash basin. The remainder of the deck with beautifully detailed carved floral and vine and geometric displays, and faux deck rope.

Signed in characters on silver tablet \"Teibi Koku Seiun zo\".

This important Meiji Japanese sterling treasure ship koro is 8 inches long and 6 1/4 tall and weighs 38 1/2 standard ounces.

Excellent condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. Stands firm on table. The Lucky Seven god\'s accessories, demon head and decoration to deck retain original detail. Few dints and mild wear.
