Japanese Sterling Silver Fish or Fruit set (no plates). Built inhandled holder with mounts for the six fork and six knifes. Knives measure 6 5/8, handles are marked Sterling,blades are silver plated, they weigh average 28 gr. Forks are marked Sterling and measure 5 5/8” and average 37 gr. Holderweighs 811 gr. Measures 7” tall and 9 5/8” wide. Can hold 7” wide plates. Totalweight is 1190 grams.
Circa 1900. Meiji period. Some minor marks to silver. Some scratches to where theplates would sit. Knife silver plated blades have marks and one is pealing (seelast picture).
