Here is a very niceand rare Japanese WWII military EmergencyFood Ration Ceramic Jar. This jar was made towards the end of the war and is ceramic.Towards the end of the war the Japanese were running out of metal so theystarted to make things out of ceramic. Theceramic jar/can replaced themetal cans. It is very rare to have the lid with this jar since most broke whenopened. If you look at the top of the lid you will see two arrows. They weresupposed to put the tip of a knife between the arrows and hit. This would breakthe top lid and open the jar. Jar is in great conditionwith no chips or cracks. Seephotos.
