You are offerding on a gorgeous 11\'\' speckled blue glazered ware plate handcrafted by Jennifer Eerdmans, located in Grand Rapids, MI. It features a traditional 17th century design of the Bennington Bird. Condition: The plate is in good, pre-owned condition, with a few small nicks/chips along the rim edge than can only be seen when the plate is tuned over. There are no cracks or repairs. Thefinish is clear and shiny, but the front of the plate shows glaze crazing throughout. I\'m not certain that the crazing is actually a flaw though, because she mentions some plates having an \"antique glaze\", and I\'m not sure if this is what she is referring to or not. Regardless, from a distance the crazing is not visible. And the small circle shaped spots on the back look to be where rubber or felt protector pads were located. With it\'s striking blue color and image, it will surly look lovely displayed on a plate stand on hung on a wall!!The artist: According to her webpage, her pieces areinspired by 17th century Dutch and English pottery. She is still making lovely pottery today which can be found on her Etsy store as well as her webpage (although I\'m not certain if this specific color/design is still being produced).
