A beautiful navy blue leather jewelry box with gilt embossing made by the CF Rumpp & Sons Company, Philadelphia. The company closed in 1959.
The box has a well working latch but no key, the box is lined with blue velvet, has one tray also lined in blue velvet.
10.5” x 7.5” x 3.25” high
Their ads say they are the “sterling of leatherwear” and manufacturer of fine leather goods. However this box is marked on the back “Rumpp” but does not say “leather”
The box is in beautiful vintage condition with very slight scuffing on the front edge the lid.
