Arbuckle issued 18 different series of cards (over 1,000 total images) between the 1860\'s and 1915. A few of their sets included racially offensive \"Negro Comic,\" \"Irish Help,\" and other offensive ethnic cards such as this. Cards from the K 7a \"Comic Illustrations with Joke\" series are numbered #1 - #50. Cards from the K 7b \"Comic Illustrations with Joke\" series are numbered #51 - #100. This series was printed by Geo. S. Harris & Sons of Philadelphia in the 1880\'s. Comics are reproduced from Judge, Texas Siftings and Puck Magazines. These cards can be found with either TEXT (\"Four Points To Buy Arbuckles\' Ariosa Coffee\" -vertical) or FACTORY VIEW \"Arbuckle\'s Factory Complex\" (horizontal, factory view). The jokes in this series range from clever word plays with middle class professionals and befuddled white people to crude \"poverty\" or \"Tramp\" jokes as well as cruel racist humor directed at immigrant laborers and ethnic minorities.NOTE: American History Horrors --
