This Vest is Vintage made in the mid sixties and was popular in the U.S. from 1966-1969. This vest was hand-made in Pakistan and was worn in traditional ceremonies of the country. Jim Morrison wore a vest just like this at the Hollywood Bowl and even Jimi Hendrix was to have been known to sport the vest on occasion. The Pakistan people were known for therecraftsmanship and made clothes out of gold- there are traces of gold dust in these vests as well.... a very rare find and almost impossible to attain. This style vest can also be seen in the OliverStone movie The Doors during the dinner sequence in which Pamburned the duck... I am selling my red vest as I need the cash. I actually am in a Doors Tribute band and havereceived many compliments on this vest- I own 2 others that I also wear during live performances. A very rare find and indeed a must have for any \"real\" Doors fan or collector of vintage memorabilia from the 60\'s! Sold as is! Note: Although the vest is listed as a Medium they tend to be more for a petite stature. Heavy vest has inside hidden pockets.
