Historic Jimi Hendrix signed 1967 Walker Brothers handbill from his firstlegendary British tour, also appearing were Cat Stevens andEngelbert Humperdinck.
An absolutely perfect non rushed Jimi signature!Jimi boldly signed and dedicated on the reverse of the handbill \"to Susan Love +Happiness Forever Jimi Hendrix\" He started to sign near the bottom of the handbill and wrote the word \"To\" but stopped and signed towards the top of it.
Thehandbill, which itself is quitevaluableis for Jimi\'s appearance at the Capital Theatre in Cardiff Wales on April the 26th 1967.
Note, the first and fourth images are of thefront and back of the handbill.
I don\'t have to tell you that authentic Jimi Hendrix signatures like this don\'t come along often, here\'s your opportunity to pick up this extremely rare beautifully signed handbill.
It comes with a letter of authenticity and an email from the originalrecipient explaining how Jimi\'s autograph was obtained, which reads….\"I was on my way home from school and happened to and happened to look towards a lake near where I lived and Jimi Hendrix was in a rowing boat. Hisroadey (how she spelled it) was actually doing the rowing. He rowed over towards the bank where I was standing and Jimi signed the flyer. I asked him to dedicate Hey Joe to me (as I was going to the concert that evening) and after he sang it, he said it was for Sue who I met this afternoon.
There are slight creases and a tape stain to the handbill (nothing earth shattering) which is in really good condition, as you can see in the scans and it measures 5.5 X 8.9\".
This was Jimi\'s first tour that would introduce him to audiences in GreatBritainfor the first time and just a few months before his incendiary American debut at the Monterey Pop Festival on June 18th.
