The art was for the limited series Conan the Barbarian: Death Covered in Gold, issue 3 page 9 (which came out in November 1999). The art from this page has beautiful pen and ink by John Buscema. John Buscema rarely inked over his own pencils on his Conan work, which is a shame because it was better than any other inkers that Marvel paired with him on Conan. The Buscema inking is simple and lush yet powerful and showcases his great draftsmanship and drawing skills. This piece of John Buscema Conan showcases a savage looking Conan and an old wizard. The original art from this issue was in fact the last published Conan art John Buscema created while he was alive and this was a great and beautiful page from the issue. It is signed by John Buscema on the middle lower bottom. Art is on bristol board and measures 11\"x17\". It\'s near white and in great shape. This is not a stat, production art but a genuine piece of comic art that was used for reproduction.Winning buyer pays $18 for parcel post shipping which includes insurance and delivery confirmation.
