You are offerding on an official complete handbill set for the 1982 John Carpenter film THE THING by artist Tyler Stout. Back in 2008, a print was commissioned from the artist for a screening of the film at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin Texas. The full-size print today sells for over two thousand dollars and is highly sought after, so in 2010 the artist decided to offer a set of handbills featuring characters and logo design from the print as a more affordable alternative. There are 15 total handbills that make up a set, each is stamped and initialed by the artist on the back and the winning buyer will receive all 15 handbills. The individual character handbills (14 total) measure 4\"x5\" with their name printed, while the 15th handbill of the film\'s title measures 4\"x8\" in size. All handbills are in mint unused condition and will ship flat. This is the lowest priced set anywhere on , most others are charging $300+ for the same set.
