This is a John Deere 2500 with a diesel motor 3 reel mower. Starts and drive and is ONLY a 2 wheel drive (NOT 3 wheel drive).

The Condition of unit:

This is a used 3 reel mower showing 4,933 hours, the motor runs strong with no leaks or issue. It drives forward and reverse with no problem at all. The hydraulic lifts up and down with no problem. No leaks from cylinders. For having as many hours this motor is GREAT!!

The steering is also good without any major issues, but the column shows signs of a small leak. Have never seen a drip just looks like a wet spot on the plastic column cover. The seat is old and has some small cracks in the here and there but is usable the way it is for me.

I have used this mower on our golf course for 6 year and it has been great.

Tires are in good shape. No cracks or dry rot. They are in great shape. Mower has already been stored INSIDE.

The reels are sharp and ready to be used. All bearings are in good shape. Reels have likely been ground for the last time but are ready to be used now.

The Problem:

One reel motor shows signs of a hydraulic leak around the drive spline. Have never had any visible leak into the reel or outside the mount, only have seen signs of oil in the grease when the motor is taken off the reel.

The temp light comes on at times. This is just a sensor problem as it comes on within a minute of being started in the cold.

I mowed a little grass with this mower this week and everything looks good.
