Ionic Technology
Your John Frieda® styling tool includes a high-voltage (advanced) ionic generator that generates up to 50% more ions than ions created from natural sources. The electronic ionizer generates negative ions, which neutralize positive ions in the atmosphere. This process flattens and seals the hair cuticle, reducing frizziness and flyaways, eliminating static electricity, and contributing to shine and manageability.
Ceramic Technology
The ceramic coating on your John Frieda® styling tool is a fusion of titanium and ceramic that evenly distributes heat to gently style and protect hair from damaging hot spots. The titanium is a harder, more durable, heat-resistant metal able to withstand higher heat than aluminum or other metals.
USE
If you have long or thick hair, you may find it quicker and easier to use the John Frieda® Full Volume Dryer first to remove excess moisture. For added volume, turn your head upside down as you dry. Once the hair is 80% dry you should start to create your style using the John Frieda® Salon Shape Hot Air Brush.
For maximum volume and body, start by sectioning off the hair. To turn the Hot Air Brush on, slide the on/off switch to the correct heat setting for your hair. Position the brush in the hair, close to the roots, and brush through the section to remove any tangles. For added root lift, hold the brush in place at the roots for a few seconds. Repeat as necessary.To give fine hair an added boost: Start with John Frieda® Luxurious Volume Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. Towel dry and apply to damp hair either Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster for added volume at the roots or Luxurious Volume Thickening Mousse for all-over volume. Style with John Frieda® Salon Shape Hot Air Brush concentrating on the roots for added lift in the root area. Finish with John Frieda® Luxurious Volume Extra-Hold Hairspray for a boost of shine and long-lasting hold.

My hair is a bit longer than shoulder length, it is thin and highlighted. I usually blow dry and finish with a hot iron as I wear it straight. Using this hot air brush saves me time and is much easier to style than using a brush in one hand and the blow dryer in the other. My hair never gets tangled in the brush which I thought might happen. People have been asking me if I did something to my hair or had it professionally blown...it is shiny and smooth. I absolutely love it!

Although the concept of brush/dryer is great (and the large brush works very well) the thermostat definitely needs tweaking!
After about 3 or 4 minutes the air just keeps getting hotter and hotter. I have to either stop using it or switch to cold--very inconvenient! Please work on this and I\'ll struggle along until someone gets it right. Thanks and hoping to hear you have new remedies.
