A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stampsissued on November 5th, 1981 to honor John Hanson, President of the Continental Congress. He held the office for a year until George Washington was elected to President of the United States.

These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the post office 36 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift for anyone interested in American align=center>Look in my other sales for blocks of stamps of other historical significance!
