Josephs Dream Christian Religious Biblical Antique 19thC Nursery Plate Georgian This is a charming old nursery ware plate dating to the early 19th century, in all likelihood around 1840.The plate would have been produced by a pottery either in Staffordshire or Wales- the main areas of production for ceramics of this type, and has an early black transfer print with an interesting pattern depicting the story of the Old Testament\'s Joseph. The pattern shows Josephs famous dreams.It measures 6 inches in diameter.Condition is fair to good - with no chips, but there is much age related crazing and discolouration - all shown in the photographs. I have several other interesting antique plates from this period and would significantly discount postage on multiple buys.

Whilst I feel I have set a fair price for this piece based on its quality and condition, I am more than open to reasonable offers as I would love for it to find a nice new home.
