Judgement of Paris Amazing 18th Century Old Master Oil Painting

The high size painting shows the episode of the Greek mythology of Paris and the three goddesses Aphrodite, Athena and Hera in a classical landscape with castle, see and mountain panorama in the background. The depiction of the decision of Paris has been a popular motif in history of art, which was already chosen among others by Lucas Cranach the Elder., Peter Paul Rubens as well as Paul Cézanne.

Condition:
The painting is in very good condition consistent with the age, slightly discolored and with a mark at the upper right edge. Edges and corners show rubbed spots due to the frame and a lot of small retouched spots can be seen overall under UV light. The frame is in good condition.

With a scientific report by professor Dipl. Ing. Dr. Manfred Schreiner, Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, February 2016, which considers impossible that the work was painted before c. 1725 due to the used colors
